Calibration
CALIBRATION1. PERFORM ZERO POINT CALIBRATION OF YAW RATE SENSOR AND DECELERATION SENSOR (When not Using Intelligent Tester)
HINT: After replacing the yaw rate sensor and/or the skid control ECU with actuator (brake actuator assembly), make sure to perform the yaw rate sensor and deceleration sensor zero point calibration.
NOTE:
- While performing the calibration, do not tilt, move or shake the vehicle. Keep it in a stationary condition. Do not start the engine.
- Be sure to perform the calibration on a level surface that has an inclination of less than 1 degrees.
a. Move the shift lever to P.
b. Clear the zero point calibration using the SST check wire.

1. Turn the ignition switch ON.
2. Using SST, connect and disconnect terminals 12 (TS) and 4 (CG) of the DLC3 4 times or more within 8 seconds.
3. Check that the warning light indicates the normal code.
4. Remove the SST from the terminals of the DLC3.
c. Procedure for test mode:
1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2. Apply the parking brake (the parking brake switch is turned ON).
3. Using SST, connect and disconnect terminals 12 (TS) and 4 (CG) of the DLC3.

4. Check that the steering wheel is in the center position and move the shift lever to P.
5. Turn the ignition switch ON.
d. Keep the vehicle in a stationary condition on a level surface for 2 seconds or more.
e. Check that the VSC warning light blinks.
HINT: If the VSC warning light does not blink, perform the zero point calibration again.
2. PERFORM ZERO POINT CALIBRATION OF YAW RATE SENSOR AND DECELERATION SENSOR (When Using Intelligent Tester)
NOTE:
- While performing the calibration, do not tilt, move or shake the vehicle. Keep it in a stationary condition. Do not start the engine.
- Be sure to perform the calibration on a level surface (within an inclination of 1 degrees).
a. Check that the steering wheel is in the center position and move the shift lever to the P position.
b. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
c. Turn the ignition switch ON.
d. Operate the intelligent tester to test mode (SIGNAL CHECK).
e. Obtain zero point of the yaw rate sensor and deceleration sensor:
1. Keep the vehicle in a stationary condition on a level surface for 2 seconds or more.
2. Check that the VSC warning light blinks.
HINT: If the VSC warning light does not blink, perform the zero point calibration again.
f. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
