Removal and Replacement

REMOVAL

Front Bumper:

1. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE
2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER

a. Remove the 8 screws and 2 bolts.
b. Using a clip remover, remove the 3 clips.

c. Apply protective tape under the front fender.
d. Detach the 6 claws and remove the bumper cover.

3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER
4. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT

a. Remove the 4 nuts and reinforcement.

5. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH
6. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY RH
7. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH

a. Remove the screw.
b. Using a screwdriver, detach the claw and remove the side support.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

8. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH

HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

INSTALLATION

HINT: A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart.

1. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH

a. Attach the claw to install the side support.
b. Install the screw.

2. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH

HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

3. INSTALL HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH
4. INSTALL HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY RH
5. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT

a. Install the reinforcement with the 4 nuts.

Torque: 20 N.m (204 kgf.cm, 15 ft.lbf)

6. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER
7. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER COVER

a. Put protective tape under the front fender.
b. Attach the 6 claws to install the bumper cover.

c. Install the 8 screws, 2 bolts and 3 clips.

8. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE
