Transmission Control Systems: Service Precautions

PRECAUTION

NOTICE:
^ When disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal, initialize these system(s) after the cable is reconnected.

^ Sliding Roof System

^ Perform the RESET MEMORY procedure (A/T initialization) when replacing the automatic transaxle assembly, engine assembly or ECM.

HINT: RESET MEMORY cannot be completed by only reconnecting the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
