Upper Instrument Panel

DISASSEMBLY




1. REMOVE NO.1 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT
a. Remove the 2 screws and No.1 heater to register duct.




2. REMOVE NO.4 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT
a. Remove the 2 screws and No.4 heater to register duct.




3. REMOVE DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the 3 screws and the defroster nozzle assembly.




4. REMOVE NO.1 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY
a. Detach the 4 claws, then remove the No.1 instrument panel register assembly.

5. REMOVE NO.2 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY

HINT: Use the same procedures for the No.2 instrument panel register assembly and No.1 instrument panel register assembly.

6. REMOVE FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the front passenger airbag.

7. REMOVE NO.2 INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION
8. REMOVE NO.2 FRONT PANEL SIDE SILENCER

REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL NO.2 FRONT PANEL SIDE SILENCER
2. INSTALL NO.2 INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION
3. INSTALL FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
a. Install the front passenger airbag.




4. INSTALL NO.1 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY
a. Attach the 4 claws to install the No.2 instrument panel register.

5. INSTALL NO.2 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY

HINT: Use the same procedures for the No.2 instrument panel register and No. 1 instrument panel register.




6. INSTALL DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY
a. Install the defroster nozzle with the 3 screws.




7. INSTALL NO.4 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT
a. Install the No. 4 heater to register duct with the 2 screws.




8. INSTALL NO.1 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT
a. Install the No. 1 heater to register duct with the 2 screws.
