DESCRIPTIONThe CRUISE indicator light on the combination meter blinks when the cruise control is malfunctioning. And then, the ECM (PCM) stores diagnosis trouble codes (DTCs). DTCs can be read from the data link connector (DLC3) with a intelligent tester or an OBD II scan tool. If the CRUISE indicator light blinks, read DTCs to isolate the problem.
