Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

INSPECTION
1. INSPECT FUSE (HORN)




a. Measure the resistance of the fuse.
Standard: Below 1 Ohm
If the result is not as specified, replace the fuse.







2. INSPECT HORN RELAY ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the HORN relay from the engine room R/B.
b. Check the HORN relay resistance.
If the result is not as specified, replace the relay assembly.







3. INSPECT LOW PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY
a. Apply battery voltage to the horn and check operation of the horn.
If the result is not as specified, replace the horn assembly.







4. INSPECT HIGH PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY
a. Apply battery voltage to the horn and check operation of the horn.
If the result is not as specified, replace the horn assembly.
