Repair Procedure
Install the SIRIUS satellite radio interior antenna tape kit according to the instructions below.
1. Remove the beige protective covers from the 3 tape pads supplied in the kit.
2. Align and attach the 3 tape pads (tape to tape) supplied in the kit to the tape pads on the antenna.
3. Remove the release tabs from the back of the antenna, and place the antenna in the proper position over the mounting pad.
4. By hand firmly apply pressure upward and massage all 3 corners of the antenna to assure complete wet-out of the tape pads.
NOTE:
^ It is very important to firmly apply pressure and massage each corner of the antenna in order to achieve adequate wet-out of the tape pads. Do this by firmly massaging the antenna on all 3 corners where the adhesive is applied as shown in the illustration.
^ The antenna adhesive is designed for application in temperatures between 60°F and 100°F (16°C and 38°C).
^ The antenna is now ready to use when following the standard SIRIUS Satellite Radio Instructions.
