D. Install the Door Trim Lower Pad (Urethane Block)





NOTE:
If the vehicle has the Door Trim Lower Pad (Urethan Block) already installed in both door trim panels DO NOT perform the following steps, and proceed to E. REASSEMBLE THE VEHICLE.





1) Install the service hole sub-cover on top of the door service hole cover into the position shown in the illustration.





2) Turn the door trim board assembly over, peel back the felt and secure it with a piece of cloth tape. As shown in the illustration.

NOTE:
During this process, DO NOT place the door trim board assembly facedown on a surface that can cause scratches.





3) Clean the areas shown in the illustration with isopropyl alcohol.





4) Remove the adhesive backing from the door trim lower pad (urethane block) and attach it to the door trim board assembly in the position shown in the illustration.

NOTE:
After attaching the door trim lower pad (urethane block), lightly press it onto the door trim board assembly by hand.





5) Remove the backing from the adhesive tape, and use it to secure the door trim lower pad (urethane block) as shown in the illustration.

NOTE:

Attach the adhesive tape so the ends that run off the left and right edges of the door trim lower pad (urethane block) are even.





6) Remove the backing from the other piece of adhesive tape, and use it to secure the door trim lower pad (urethane block) as shown in the illustration.

NOTE:
Make sure the door trim lower pad (urethane block) is firmly secured to the door trim board with the adhesive tape.





7) Replace the 3 clips shown in the illustration with the NEW ones.

8) Repeat the door trim lower pad (urethane block) installation procedure on the opposite door.
