A. Remove the Driver and Passenger Side Impact Airbag Sensors

1) Record the radio station presets.

2) Roll both windows up.

3) Disconnect the negative battery cable.

NOTE:

Wait 90 seconds after the negative (-) terminal cable is disconnected from the battery before starting work on the SRS system. (The SRS is equipped with a backup power source, so that if work is started within 90 seconds after disconnecting the negative (-) terminal cable of the battery, the SRS may be deployed).

4) Disassemble the vehicle and remove the driver and passenger "Side Impact Airbag Sensors" as outlined in the repair manual (TIS keyword: "Side Airbag Sensor Removal".
