Tail Lamp: Service and Repair
REAR COMBINATION LAMP ASSEMBLY LHOVERHAUL
HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
- Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
1. REMOVE REAR BUMPER COVER
2. REMOVE REAR FLOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER
a. Remove the claw and remove the rear floor service hole cover.
3. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LAMP ASSEMBLY LH
a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Remove the 3 nuts.
c. Remove the pin, and then remove the rear combination lamp assembly LH.
4. REAR BUMPER SIDE BRACKET LH
a. Using needle nose pliers, release the claws and remove the rear bumper side bracket LH from the rear combination lamp assembly LH.
5. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LAMP BULB
a. Remove the rear combination lamp socket as shown in the illustration.
b. Remove the rear combination lamp bulb from the rear combination lamp socket.
6. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LAMP BULB
a. Remove the rear combination lamp socket as shown in the illustration.
b. Remove the rear combination lamp bulb from the rear combination lamp socket.
7. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LAMP BULB
a. Remove the rear combination lamp socket as shown in the illustration.
b. Remove the rear combination lamp bulb from the rear combination lamp socket.
8. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LAMP BODY PACKING LH
9. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LAMP SOCKET AND WIRE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
a. Remove the clamp and the rear combination lamp socket and wire sub-assembly LH.
