Control Assembly: Service and Repair

Heater Control & Accessory Assy:






OVERHAUL

NOTE: When disassembling the heater control & accessory assembly, touch the vehicle body to eliminate the static electricity to prevent parts from being damaged.

HINT: Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

1. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (MANUAL TRANSAXLE)
2. REMOVE CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY UPR FR




3. REMOVE HEATER CONTROL & ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY
a. Disengage the 9 claws.

NOTE: If the heater control & accessory assembly is removed with the cover open, it may be broken. Be sure the cover is closed when removing.

b. Disconnect the connector, then remove the heater control & accessory assembly.

4. REMOVE CENTER CLUSTER MODULE KNOB




a. Remove the center cluster module knob.

5. REMOVE HEATER CONTROL BASE LOWER




a. Remove the 6 screws.
b. Release the 2 claws and remove the air-conditioner panel sub-assembly.




c. Release the 4 claws and remove the heater control lower.

6. REMOVE AIR-CONDITIONER AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY




a. Release the claw and remove the knob.




b. Release the 2 claws and remove the knob.




c. Release the 2 claws and remove the knob.
