Condenser HVAC: Testing and Inspection

ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

1. INSPECT COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY

a. If the fin of the cooler condenser assembly is dirty, clean it with water and dry them with compressed air.

NOTE: Do not damage the fin of the condenser assembly.

b. If the fin of the cooler condenser assembly is bent, straighten them using a screwdriver or pliers.

2. CHECK CONDENSER FOR LEAKAGE OF REFRIGERANT
a. Check the pipe joints for gas leakage using a halogen leak detector.
b. Check the tightening torque of joint if a gas leakage is detected in a pipe joint.
