PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH CIRCUIT

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
Park/Neutral position switch circuit inspection is necessary for automatic transaxle vehicles.

When the shift lever is in any position except D, a signal is sent from the park/neutral position switch to the ECM. When this signal is input during cruise control driving, the ECM cancels the cruise control.

HINT: Start the inspection from step 1 when using the hand-held tester and start from step 2 when not using the hand-held tester.
