Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Left




Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Left Side

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the left engine mount. Refer to Engine Mount Replacement - Left Side (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Service and Repair).
3. Remove the starter solenoid positive battery cable nut (4) from the starter.
4. Remove the positive battery cable terminal (5) from the starter.




5. Reposition the positive battery cable boot (4).
6. Remove the generator positive battery cable nut (2) from the generator.
7. Remove the positive battery cable terminal (5) from the generator.




8. Remove the engine harness clip (4) from the intake manifold.




9. Remove the left side engine mount bracket bolts and bracket.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the left engine mount bracket to the engine block.
2. Install the left engine mount bracket bolts until snug.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

3. Tighten the left engine mount bracket bolts.

Tighten the bolts in the sequence shown to 55 Nm (41 lb ft).




4. Install the positive battery cable terminal (5) to the generator.
5. Install the generator positive battery cable nut (2) to the generator.

Tighten the nut to 20 Nm (15 lb ft).

6. Position the positive battery cable boot (4).




7. Install the engine harness clip (4) to the intake manifold.




8. Install the positive battery cable terminal (5) to the starter.
9. Install the starter solenoid positive battery cable nut (4) to the starter.

Tighten the nut to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

10. Install the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Service and Repair).
11. Install the left engine mount. Refer to Engine Mount Replacement - Left Side (Service and Repair).
