Front Seat Head Restraint Bushing Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front seat back covering. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Cover Replacement (Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Cover Replacement).




2. Remove the active head restraint frame.

* Detach the active head restraint tension spring.
* Remove the 2 bolts (l).
* Remove frame from guide (arrows).

3. Undo the 2 mounting bearings of the active head restraint.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the 2 mounting bearings of the active head restraint.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the active head restraint frame.

* Insert the frame.

Tighten the 2 bolts to 3.5 Nm (32 lb in).

* Attach the active head restraint tension spring.

3. Attach the front seat back covering. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Cover Replacement (Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Cover Replacement).
