Sunroof Window Replacement - Front

Removal Procedure

1. Open the sunshade.




2. Remove the front air deflector covers.
Release the cover (1) at the back (3) and remove from the bracket, front (2).




3. Open the sunroof to the vent position.

Note: Ensure the position disk does not drop off.

4. Remove the sunroof window rear bolts, two on each side.
Remove the 4 bolts.
5. Open the sunroof to half open position.

Note: Ensure the position disk does not drop off.

6. Remove the front window bolts, one on each side.
Remove the 2 bolts.
7. Remove the window.

Installation Procedure




1. Insert the window.
Align and insert the window on one side.





Note: Position disk may not rotate, since it can cause scratches in the rear glass cover.

2. Install the front window.

1. Insert the 2 long position window panes (1).
2. Install the 2 screws (3) with washers (2).

3. Close the sunroof until the rear part is in the vent position.

Note: Position disk may not rotate, since it can cause scratches in the rear window.

4. Install the sunroof window rear bolts.

1. Insert the 4 long position window panes.
2. Install the 4 screws with washers.




5. Close the sunroof.
Inspect the gap 1.5-2 mm (0.06-0.08 in).





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

6. Tighten the sunroof, rear.
Press the seal lightly down (arrow).

Tighten the 4 bolts to 4 Nm (35 lb in).

7. Open the sunroof to half open position.
8. Tighten the sunroof window front bolts.

Tighten the 2 bolts to 4 Nm (35 lb in).

9. Install the front air deflector covers.
Insert and clip in covers.
10. Close the sunroof.
11. Close the sunshade.
12. Close the front door.
