Center Pillar Upper Garnish Molding Replacement (Sedan)

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the front seat belt trim panel (1).
Release and remove the trim panel upwards (arrow).
2. Remove the seat belt from front seat.
Remove the bolt (2).




3. Remove the upper center pillar trim.

* Remove the access panel (1).
* Loosen the upper center pillar panel in the lower area (2) and remove the upper center pillar panel.
* Remove the 6 clips.

4. Remove the upper center pillar trim.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the upper center pillar trim.

* Place the center pillar trim, install upper center pillar in lower center pillar trim.
* Install the 6 clips.
* Install the center pillar trim.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

Note: Use screw locking compound.

2. Install the seat belt at the front seat.

Tighten the bolt to 20 Nm (15 lb ft).

3. Install the seat belt trim panel.
Install the trim panel.
