Evaporative Emission Hoses/Pipes Replacement - Engine

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator Replacement (Service and Repair) .
3. Disconnect the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge valve tube from the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service (Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service) .
4. Disconnect the EVAP canister purge valve tube from the intake manifold purge port. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service (Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service) .
5. Remove the EVAP canister purge valve tube.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the EVAP canister purge valve tube.
2. Connect the EVAP canister purge valve tube to the intake manifold purge port. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service (Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service) .
3. Connect the EVAP canister purge valve tube to the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service (Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service) .
4. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator Replacement (Service and Repair) .
5. Install the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (Service and Repair) .
