Crankshaft Front Oil Seal Replacement

Tools Required

J 35268-A Camshaft/Front Main Seal Installer


Removal Procedure





1. Remove the crankshaft balancer. Refer to Crankshaft Balancer Replacement (Service and Repair) .
2. Using a flat-bladed tool, remove the oil seal from the front cover.



Installation Procedure





1. Use the J 35268-A in order to install the oil seal to the front cover.
2. Install the crankshaft balancer. Refer to Crankshaft Balancer Replacement (Service and Repair) .
