Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Left Side
Removal Procedure
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Service and Repair) .
3. Remove the left engine mount. Refer to Engine Mount Replacement - Left Side (Service and Repair) .
4. Remove the positive battery cable starter solenoid nut (2) from the starter.
5. Remove the positive battery cable terminal (3) from the starter.
6. Reposition the engine wiring harness boot (2) at the generator stud.
7. Remove the engine wiring harness nut (1) from the generator.
8. Remove the engine wiring harness terminal (3) from the generator.
9. Remove the engine mount bracket bolts and bracket.
Installation Procedure
1. Position the engine mount bracket to the engine block.
2. Install the engine mount bracket bolts until snug.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .
3. Tighten the engine mount bracket bolts in the following sequence.
1. Lower
2. Upper front
3. Upper Rear
Tighten the bolts to 55 N.m (41 lb ft).
4. Install the engine wiring harness terminal (3) to the generator.
5. Install the engine wiring harness nut (1) to the generator.
Tighten the nut to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
6. Position the engine wiring harness boot (2).
7. Install the positive battery cable terminal (3) to the starter.
8. Install the positive battery cable starter solenoid nut (2) to the starter.
Tighten the nut to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
9. Install the left engine mount. Refer to Engine Mount Replacement - Left Side (Service and Repair) .
10. Install the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Service and Repair) .
11. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Service and Repair) .
