Clutch Actuator Cylinder Pipe Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement (Transmission Only) (Transmission Replacement (Transmission Only))Transmission Replacement (Engine and Transmission) (Transmission Replacement (Engine and Transmission)) .
2. Remove pressure line (2) from central release.
Remove the union nut.
3. Remove the pressure line (1).

* Disconnect the fastening sleeve for pressure line on clutch housing (arrows).
* Remove the fastening sleeve with pressure line upwards and slightly out of transmission.
* Disconnect the fastening sleeve for the pressure line.
Carefully disengage the retaining lugs (3).
* Remove the pressure line.


Important: Replace the damaged components.


4. Inspect all parts for damage.



Installation Procedure






Important:
* Note seating and condition of the O-ring (2). Damage to or absence of the O-ring leads to leaks.

* The lug (arrow) on the sleeve must sit in the groove in the clutch housing.



1. Install the fastening sleeve for the pressure line (1).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

2. Install the pressure line.
Connect the pressure line in fastening sleeve.

Tighten the pressure line on the central release to 14 N.m (124 lb in).

3. Install the transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement (Transmission Only) (Transmission Replacement (Transmission Only))Transmission Replacement (Engine and Transmission) (Transmission Replacement (Engine and Transmission)) .
