Front Differential Transfer Drive Gear Cleaning and Inspection





1. Clean the front differential transfer drive gear assembly (14) in solvent and air dry.
2. Inspect the gears for the following:

* Chipped teeth
* Metal debris embedded in the teeth
* Excessive wear
* Abnormal wear pattern

3. If any of the above conditions are found replace the front differential transfer drive gear assembly. This assembly is serviced only as a complete assembly.
