Power Vacuum Brake Booster Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Open the hood.
2. Disconnect the wiring harness plug of the vacuum pump.




3. Remove the vacuum pump (2).

* Detach the vacuum hose (1).
* Unscrew the 2 screw connections (3).




Installation Procedure


Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

1. Install the vacuum pump.
Attach the vacuum hose.

Tighten the 2 screw connections to 24 N.m (18 lb ft).

2. Connect the wiring harness plug.
3. Close the hood.
