Front Seat Adjuster Track Finish Cover Replacement

Removal Procedure

Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution (Battery Disconnect Caution) .

Important: Wait 1 minute for the airbag to deactivate.


1. Disconnect the battery.




2. Remove the front seat belt securing the panel (1).
3. Remove the seat belt from the front seat.
Remove the bolt (2).
4. Position the seat to the most forward position.




5. Remove the drivers seat, rear.
Remove the 2 bolts (1).

Important: Disconnect the wiring harness plug.


6. Remove the front seat.
Remove from the front guide.
7. Remove the height adjuster panel.
Release with a plastic wedge.




8. Remove the height adjuster.
9. Remove the 2 bolts (1) and the lever.
10. Remove the adjuster wheel, seat backrest.
Release with a plastic wedge.




11. Remove the outer paneling.

* Remove the 2 bolts (1, 3).
* Remove the front of paneling from the guide (2).




Installation Procedure


Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

1. Install the exterior paneling.
Insert the paneling.

Tighten the 2 bolts to 35 N.m (26 lb ft).

2. Install the adjuster wheel, seat backrest.
Install the adjusting wheel.
3. Install the height adjuster.

Tighten the 2 bolts to 35 N.m (26 lb ft).

4. Install the height adjuster panel.
Install the panel.

Important: Connect the wiring harness plug.


5. Install the front seat.
Insert into the front guide.
6. Install the front seat, rear.

Tighten the 2 bolts to 35 N.m (26 lb ft).

7. Reposition the seat to the original position.
8. Install the seat belt at the front seat.

Tighten the bolt to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

9. Install the seat belt fastening panel.
10. Connect the battery.
