Front Seat Back Cushion Hinge Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket (Front Seat Replacement - Bucket) .




2. Remove the star handle from the seat backrest.
Remove the adjusting wheel with a suitable tool.




3. Remove the interior paneling.

* Remove the bolt (1).
* Remove the paneling.






Important: For better clarity, the connecting rod is shown on the seat mount with the upholstery removed (1).


4. Remove the connecting rod.

* Remove the cover cap (2).
* Remove the rod (3).




Installation Procedure

1. Install the connecting rod.

* Insert the rod.
* Install the cover cap.


Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

2. Install the interior paneling.
Insert the paneling.

Tighten the bolt to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

3. Install the star handle to the seat backrest.
Install the adjusting wheel.
4. Install the front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket (Front Seat Replacement - Bucket) .
