Sunroof Window Seal Replacement - Outer

Removal Procedure

1. Lower the molded headlining. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan) (Service and Repair)Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (with Sunroof) (Service and Repair)Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Coupe) (Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the sunroof module assembly. Refer to Sunroof Module Assembly Replacement ([1][2]Service and Repair) .




3. Remove the window outer seal.
Remove the window outer seal from the guide.



Installation Procedure






Important:
* Position the window outer seal with the sunroof in the front area on markings (2).

* Cut off the window seal at the lower area of the opening of the sunroof (3).



1. Install the window outer seal (1).

1. Insert the window outer seal into the guide.
2. Cut off the extra window seal and glue the end to the abutting seal (4) (super glue).

2. Install the sunroof module assembly. Refer to Sunroof Module Assembly Replacement ([1][2]Service and Repair) .
3. Install the molded headlining. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan) (Service and Repair)Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (with Sunroof) (Service and Repair)Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Coupe) (Service and Repair) .
