Liftgate Lock Striker Replacement (Sedan)

Removal Procedure

1. Open the liftgate.




2. Remove the rear compartment sill trim panel.

* Carefully release the 4 clips in the upper area (2) with a plastic wedge.
* Release the 4 clips in the lower area (1) in the direction of the interior.






Important: Mark the installation position.


3. Remove the liftgate lock striker (1).
Remove the 2 bolts (2).



Installation Procedure


Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

1. Install the liftgate lock striker.

Tighten the 2 bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

2. Install the rear compartment sill trim panel.

* Install 4 clips in the lower area.
* Install 4 clips in the upper area.
