Liftgate Wiring Harness Replacement (L08)

Removal Procedure

Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution (Battery Disconnect Caution) .
1. Disconnect battery.
2. Remove the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan) (Service and Repair)Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement (Coupe) (Service and Repair) .
3. Remove the liftgate wiring harness.




4. Overview of the liftgate wiring harness.





Important: Cut through the clips with a suitable tool (flat screwdriver).


5. Disconnect the wiring harness to the left and right of the liftgate window.
Release the 4 clips.



Installation Procedure

1. Install the liftgate wiring harness.
2. Install the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan) (Service and Repair)Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement (Coupe) (Service and Repair) .
3. Connect the battery.
4. For reprogramming procedures, refer to Control Module References (Programming and Relearning) .
