Engine Mount Replacement - Left Side

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the air cleaner outlet resonator.
2. Remove the left engine mount upper nut.
3. Raise and support the vehicle.




4. Remove the left engine mount lower nut.




5. Remove the right engine mount lower nut.
6. Position an adjustable jack below the oil pan. Place a block of wood between the oil pan and the jack.
7. Raise the engine using the adjustable jack until the engine mount can be removed.




8. Remove the left engine mount.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the left engine mount.
2. Lower the engine using the adjustable jack until the engine is resting on the mount.
3. Remove the adjustable jack from below the oil pan.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

4. Install the right engine mount lower nut.

Tighten the nut to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).




5. Install the left engine mount lower nut.

Tighten the nut to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

6. Lower the vehicle.




7. Install the left engine mount upper nut.

Tighten the nut to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

8. Install the air cleaner outlet resonator.
