Canister Vent Valve: Service and Repair



Evaporative Emission Canister Vent Solenoid Valve Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the fuel tank.
2. Disconnect the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister vent solenoid valve tube quick connect fitting.
3. Depress the locking tab on the EVAP canister vent solenoid valve mount and slide the valve out of the canister.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the EVAP canister vent solenoid valve onto the mount on the canister, push the valve forward until the locking tab engages.
2. Connect the EVAP canister vent tube quick connect fitting.
3. Install the fuel tank.
