Engine Mount Replacement - Left



Engine Mount Replacement - Left Side

Removal Procedure




1. Loosen the charge air cooler (CAC) outlet hose clamp (2) at the CAC outlet pipe.
2. Loosen the CAC outlet hose clamp (1) at the throttle body.
3. Remove the CAC outlet hose from the CAC outlet pipe and throttle body.




4. Remove the left engine mount upper nut.
5. Raise and support the vehicle.




6. Remove the left engine mount lower nut.




7. Remove the right engine mount lower nut.
8. Position an adjustable jack below the oil pan. Place a block of wood between the oil pan and the jack.
9. Raise the engine using the adjustable jack until the engine mount can be removed.




10. Remove the left engine mount.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the left engine mount.
2. Lower the engine using the adjustable jack until the engine is resting on the mount.
3. Remove the adjustable jack from below the oil pan.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

4. Install the right engine mount lower nut.

Tighten the nut to 55 N.m (41 lb ft).




5. Install the left engine mount lower nut.

Tighten the nut to 55 N.m (41 lb ft).

6. Lower the vehicle.




7. Install the left engine mount upper nut.

Tighten the nut to 55 N.m (41 lb ft).




8. Install the CAC outlet hose to the CAC outlet pipe and throttle body.
9. Tighten the CAC outlet hose clamp (1) at the throttle body.
10. Tighten the CAC outlet hose clamp (2) at the CAC outlet pipe.

Tighten the clamps to 5 N.m (44 lb in).
