Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Left



Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Left Side

Removal Procedure




1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the power brake booster pump.
3. Remove the tire and wheel.
4. Remove the left engine mount.
5. Remove the positive battery cable starter solenoid nut (2) from the starter.
6. Remove the positive battery cable terminal (3) from the starter.




7. Reposition the engine wiring harness boot (2) at the generator stud.
8. Remove the engine wiring harness nut (1) from the generator.
9. Remove the engine wiring harness terminal (3) from the generator.




10. Remove the engine mount bracket bolts and bracket.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the engine mount bracket to the engine block.
2. Install the engine mount bracket bolts until snug.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

3. Tighten the engine mount bracket bolts in the following sequence.
1. Lower
2. Upper front
3. Upper Rear

Tighten the bolts to 55 N.m (41 lb ft).




4. Install the engine wiring harness terminal (3) to the generator.
5. Install the engine wiring harness nut (1) to the generator.

Tighten the nut to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

6. Position the engine wiring harness boot (2).




7. Install the positive battery cable terminal (3) to the starter.
8. Install the positive battery cable starter solenoid nut (2) to the starter.

Tighten the nut to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

9. Install the left engine mount.
10. Install the tire and wheel.
11. Install the power brake booster pump.
12. Connect the negative battery cable.
