Transmitter Battery Replacement
Removal Procedure
Important: The normal battery life is approximately 2 years. Replace the batteries when the range of the transmitter begins to decrease to less than approximately 7 meters (23 ft).
1. Open the transmitter case (6,4).
1. Insert a small flat-bladed tool between the 2 halves of the transmitter case (6, 4) at the slot provided near the key ring hole (5).
2. Twist the tool in order to open the case.
2. Remove the battery (2).
Installation Procedure
1. Use a 3-volt CR2016 battery or the equivalent. Install the battery (2) with the positive side up.
2. Close the transmitter case (6, 4).
3. Ensure that the seal is in position. Align the 2 halves of the case (6, 4) and snap the halves together.
4. Verify the operation of the transmitter.
