57. Timing Belt Front Cover Installation

Timing Belt Cover Installation - Front





1. Install the front timing belt cover.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the front timing belt cover bolts.
^ Tighten the bolts to 8 Nm (71 inch lbs.).
3. Install the wire harness channel.
4. Install the power steering pump pulley.
5. Install the power steering pump pulley bolts.
^ Tighten the bolts to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).
6. Install the water pump pulley.
7. Install the water pump pulley bolts.
^ First pass, 8 Nm (71 inch lbs.)
^ Second pass, 30 degrees
^ Final pass, 30 degrees
