Carpet Replacement - Rear

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement - Rear (Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement - Rear).




2. Remove the right and the left carpet retainers. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement (Carpet Retainer Replacement).




3. Remove front seat bolts.




4. Remove the center console extensions by pulling gently at the fastener location.




5. Remove the center console fasteners.
6. Tilt the front seats and console upward to allow carpet to be removed from under seat and console.
7. Remove the carpet from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the rear carpet in the vehicle making sure that the carpet is properly fit under the front seat and console.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the front seat bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 25 Nm (19 lb ft).

3. Install the console fasteners.

Tighten the fasteners to 2.5 Nm (22 lb in).




4. Install the console extensions.




5. Install the right and the left carpet retainers. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement (Carpet Retainer Replacement).




6. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement - Rear (Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement - Rear).
