Hinge Replacement - Front Door

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the front door. Refer to Door Replacement - Front (Door Replacement - Front).
2. Mark around the hinge location with a grease pencil for installation alignment purposes.
3. Remove the hinge to hinge pillar bolts.
4. Remove the hinge from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the hinge to the vehicle with the marks made prior to removal.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the hinge to hinge pillar bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 30 Nm (22 lb ft).

3. Install the front door. Refer to Door Replacement - Front (Door Replacement - Front).
4. Inspect the door for proper alignment. Refer to Door Adjustment - Front (Adjustments).
