DTC C0060-C0095

Circuit Description
The electronic brake control module (EBCM) performs several self-tests for internal problems which may affect proper operation. The antilock brake system (ABS) control module controls valve function by grounding the solenoid circuit when necessary.

DTC Descriptors
This diagnostic procedure supports the following DTCs:
^ DTC C0060 Left Front ABS Solenoid #1 Circuit Malfunction
^ DTC C0065 Left Front ABS Solenoid #2 Circuit Malfunction
^ DTC C0070 Right Front ABS Solenoid #1 Circuit Malfunction
^ DTC C0075 Right Front ABS Solenoid #2 Circuit Malfunction
^ DTC C0080 Left Rear ABS Solenoid #1 Circuit Malfunction
^ DTC C0085 Left Rear ABS Solenoid #2 Circuit Malfunction
^ DTC C0090 Right Rear ABS Solenoid #1 Circuit Malfunction
^ DTC C0095 Right Rear ABS Solenoid #2 Circuit Malfunction

Conditions for Running the DTC
The ignition is ON.

Conditions for Setting the DTC
The ABS control module detects an open, short to ground, or short to voltage on the solenoid circuits inside the control module.

Action Taken When the DTC Sets
^ The EBCM disables the ABS/dynamic rear proportion (DRP)/traction control system (TCS).
^ The ABS indicator turns ON.
^ The traction off indicator turns ON.

Conditions for Clearing the DTC
Certain conditions that may cause this DTC to set cannot be cleared. Other conditions that may cause this DTC to set may be cleared, at least temporarily, by using the scan tool Clear DTCs function.

Diagnostic Aids





Replace the EBCM if this DTC continues to set intermittently.
