Navigation Antenna Replacement

NAVIGATION ANTENNA REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to SIR Caution in Service Precautions.




1. Disable the SIR. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 2 (Coupe) SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 2 (Sedan) and SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 6 (Coupe) SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 6 (Sedan) in Restraint Systems.
2. Remove the headliner.
3. Disconnect the antenna cable.
4. Disengage the cable fasteners from the roof.




5. Squeeze the antenna tabs to disengage the navigation antenna from the roof.
6. Remove the navigation antenna from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Connect the antenna cable.
2. Install the antenna cable fasteners in the roof.
3. Position the navigation antenna.
4. Press on the antenna until the clips engage.
5. Install the headliner.
6. Enable the SIR. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 2 (Coupe) SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 2 (Sedan) and SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 6 (Coupe) SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 6 (Sedan) in Restraint Systems.
