Park Brake Warning Lamp Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the park brake boot by squeezing the boot on the sides while pulling upwards.
2. Remove the park brake alarm electrical connector.
3. Remove the park brake alarm to the park brake lever attachment bolt.
4. Remove the park brake alarm.

Installation Procedure





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

1. Position the park brake alarm and install the fastener.
Tighten the park brake alarm fastener to 2.5 Nm (22 inch lbs.).
2. Install the park brake alarm electrical connector.
3. Install the park brake boot into the console assembly.
