Latch Replacement - Rear Compartment Lid

Removal Procedure




1. Open the rear compartment.
2. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the rear compartment latch.
3. Remove the bolts from the latch.




4. Disconnect the lock cylinder actuator cable from the latch.
5. Remove the latch from the rear compartment lid.

Installation Procedure

1. Position the latch to the rear compartment lid.




2. Connect the lock cylinder actuator cable to the latch.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.




3. Install the bolts to the latch.

Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

4. Connect the electrical connectors to the rear compartment latch.
5. Close the rear compartment.
