SEAT BELT BUCKLE REPLACEMENT - REAR (SEDAN)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the rear seat cushion.
2. Insert an awl in the slot located on the top of the anchoring buckle and disconnect the center seat belt webbing.




3. Remove the nut from the rear seat belt buckle assembly.
4. Remove the buckle assembly.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Position the rear seat belt buckle to the studs.
2. Install the nut to the rear seat belt buckle.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten
Tighten the nut to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).

3. Install the rear seat cushion.




4. Install the center seat belt webbing into the anchor buckle.
5. Verify proper operation of the seat belt.
