Boost Solenoid: Service and Repair

BOOST CONTROL SOLENOID REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Disconnect the boost control solenoid connector.
2. Remove the boost control solenoid retaining bolt.
3. Remove the boost control solenoid (2).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




1. Install the boost control solenoid (2) and bolt.

Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

2. Connect the boost control solenoid connector.
