Outside Power Rear View Mirror and Motor

REMOVAL




1. Remove mirror glass.




2. Remove mirror trim panel by pulling out at top.
3. Remove foam filler.




4. Disconnect electrical connector from door harness.
5. Remove attaching nuts securing mirror.
6. Remove motor from mirror housing.
7. Unroute wire.

INSTALLATION







1. Route electrical connector.
2. Connect electrical connector.
3. Install foam filler.
4. Install motor.
5. Install three screws and tighten.

Torque:
Mirror Motor-to-Mirror Housing Screws: 3 N.m (27 in-lbs)







6. Snap mirror glass assembly onto motor. (Refer to "Outside Rear View Mirror Glass" procedures.)




7. Install mirror attachment nuts.

Torque:
Mirror Attachment Nuts: 10 N.m (89 in-lbs)

8. Install foam filler.




9. Install mirror trim cover by placing lower portion of cover behind trim panel and push in on top fastener.
