Transaxle Oil Cooler Line Assembly
TRANSAXLE OIL COOLER LINE ASSEMBLYREMOVAL
CAUTION: MAKE SURE VEHICLE IS PROPERLY SUPPORTED AND SQUARELY POSITIONED ON THE HOIST. TO HELP AVOID PERSONAL INJURY WHEN A VEHICLE IS ON A HOIST, PROVIDE ADDITIONAL SUPPORT FOR THE VEHICLE ON THE OPPOSITE END FROM WHICH COMPONENTS ARE BEING REMOVED.
1. Place drain pan or suitable container under vehicle.
2. Position vehicle on a hoist.
3. Use line wrench to remove upper transaxle cooler line from radiator.
4. Raise vehicle.
5. Use a line wrench to remove lower transaxle cooler line from radiator.
6. Remove transaxle oil cooler line assembly nut from transaxle.
7. Remove transaxle oil cooler line assembly from vehicle.
INSTALLATION
1. Install transaxle oil cooler line assembly to transaxle.
2. Install transaxle oil cooler line assembly nut.
Torque:
Transaxle Oil Cooler Line Assembly Nut: 8 Nm (71 inch lbs.)
3. Use a line wrench to install lower transaxle cooler line to radiator.
Torque:
Transaxle Cooler Line Fittings: 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.)
4. Lower vehicle.
5. Use line wrench to install upper transaxle cooler line to radiator.
Torque:
Transaxle Cooler Line Fittings: 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.)
6. Start engine and check for leaks.
7. Check for proper fluid level using the "Transaxle Fluid Level Checking Procedure".
