Refrigerant Pressure Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair

PRESSURE TRANSDUCER





REMOVAL
1. Disconnect pressure transducer electrical connector.




2. Using a back-up wrench to support refrigerant line, remove pressure transducer.

INSTALLATION

NOTE: Do not use PAG oil.

1. Lubricate pressure port O-ring with mineral oil.
2. Hand start pressure transducer onto pressure port.




3. Using a back-up wrench to support refrigerant line, tighten pressure transducer.

Torque:
Pressure Transducer-to-Suction/Liquid Line: 7 N.m (62 in-lbs)




4. Connect pressure transducer electrical connector.
