Evaporative System Service Port: Description and Operation

EVAPORATIVE EMISSION (EVAP) SERVICE PORT




The EVAP service port is located in the EVAP purge line under the hood near the EVAP purge solenoid. The service port is identified by a green colored cap. The Port is between the EVAP purge solenoid and the EVAP canister. The port contains a schrader valve to allow the connection of the service tool kit, Enhanced EVAP Pressure Purge Diagnostic Cart J 41413.
