Vacuum Check Valve

VACUUM CHECK VALVE

^ TOOLS REQUIRED
- J43914 Universal Clamp Pliers

REMOVAL

IMPORTANT: Do not remove rubber grommet from booster.





1. Remove check valve hose assembly from booster.





2. Disconnect vacuum hose from rear of plenum, (L81), and remove vacuum hose assembly from vehicle.





3. Using Universal Clamp Pliers J43914 (or equivalent), remove hose clamp from check valve, (L61), and remove vacuum hose assembly from vehicle.

INSTALLATION





1. Connect vacuum hose at rear of plenum, (L81).





2. Install vacuum check valve line assembly onto throttle body hose, (L61).
3. Using Universal Clamp Pliers, J43914 (or equivalent), install hose clamp onto check valve, (L61).
4. Make sure rubber grommet is positioned correctly in booster.





5. Install check valve with hose into booster.
