Front Door Striker: Service and Repair

STRIKER

REMOVAL




1. Using a soft marker, mark around striker for installation purposes.
2. Remove screws, remove striker and striker shim if present.

INSTALLATION

1. Loosely install striker and striker shim, if present, with screws.
2. Align striker with marks made prior to removal.
3. Tighten screws.

Torque:
Door Striker Bolts: 25 N.m (18 ft.lbs)

4. Check door closing and align striker as required.
5. Torque striker screws.
