Schematic:

The body control module (BCM) and the powertrain control module (PCM) monitors the Class II data link for short-to-battery voltage conditions. Devices on the Class II data link are connected in a ring configuration.

DTC Parameters
^ Ignition On.
^ Circuit 1807 shorted-to-voltage.
^ Conditions exist for greater than 2 seconds.

Diagnostic AIDS
^ Inspect wiring harness for damage. Check for broken or chaffed insulation.
^ If fault is suspected to be intermittent, wiggling harness wiring may help in locating fault.
