C0115

The pump motor is an integral part of the Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (BPMV). The system relay and pump motor driver is located in the Electric Brake and Traction Control Module (EBTCM). The system relay supplies power to the solenoids and pump motor whenever the ignition switch is in the RUN position. The pump motor driver switches the pump motor on during ABS operation.

CODE PARAMETERS
DTC C0115 will set if:
- The EBTCM senses a stalled or slow turning pump motor.
When the trouble code sets, ABS is disabled and the antilock telltale is turned on.
Dynamic rear proportioning (DRP) will only have the hold function.

DIAGNOSTIC AIDS
- It is very important to thoroughly inspect wiring components and connectors. Failure to carefully and fully inspect wiring and connectors may result in misdiagnosis, causing part replacement with reappearance of the malfunction.
Possible causes for DTC C0115 to set:
- Pump motor is stuck.
- Pump motor turns too slowly. (Could be due to corroded motor or contaminated pump circuit.)
- Pump motor has high resistance.
